Section 8 Housing Assistance Program
John and Kyle are back with another episode of We Are TPM! This week discussing the
Section 8 housing assistance program. This government assistance program requires
an application process, but if accepted, the government will pay a portion or all of a
tenant's rent. They explain that Section 8 housing was looked down upon when they
were younger, but that they have since gained an understanding of the program and
share their knowledge with you. Kyle simplifies the program by saying that it is a
government assistance program that pays a portion of a tenant's rent up to 100%, with
the possibility of paying the full amount.
